Meteorological Office, Wellington, Friday, November 3, 1933, at 4 p.m. Vnutevrlav’s anti-cvcloue is moving away eastward, while a shallow waste: ly denre/sion s approaching across the south Tasman Sea. . The situation is largriy controlled, however, by a small cyclone centred just north of New Forecast-“ East to north-east winds over the North Island veering later to southeast- strong to gale force north of Kawhia and East Cape; elsewhere light to moderate but increasing. Northerlies prevailing at first over the South Island but a change to freshening southerlies advancing from the south. Seas rough north of East Cape; elsewhere smooth to moderate in New Zealand extending later over most of Auckland province and also to scattered parts of eastern and far southern districts. Temperatures becoming cooler.
