SOLDIERS’ NEW IRON RATION

The Army Medical College has tested it for food values, and the soldiers were to test it under service conditions during the (mining season. As constituted at present the ration has- foods in the following percentage. —l’ci flour 29 cocoa butter 2a. sugat 25 cocoa powder 10, beef powder 10. and oil of lemon 1. The new ration weighs t lb., as compared with 21b. for the old one.
