’l’lie ease in the Magistrate's Court in which Patrick Daniel Mullin is claiming a sum of money and damages from his mother, Ivy Muriel Warner, was adjourned yesterday by Mr. J. S. Barton, S.M.. to Tuesday next. Conl-miuers are drinking much more milk than formerly, says Mr. J. It. Felton, British Mines Inspector. Shirebrook, in Derbyshire, which once had an unenviable notoriety as a “beer-drink-ing” town, bus now a very good word from the local colliery manager.
