CHRISTMAS CHEER

Goodfellowship Bonds Issue Mr. Smith, of the Smith Family Joyspreaders, announces an immediate issue of “Goodfellowship Bonds to provide a measure of cheer to thousands of destitute people this Christmastide. When it is known that the Smith Family has given free distribution of milk to 2400 children, half a pint daily to each child on school days during the winter months, at a cost of £427; free boot repairs to relief workers, their wives and families, 18,000 pairs having been repaired to date; free distribution of coal to 1200 homes during the past winter: over £5OO in the purchase of new clothing, and the distribution of over £lOOO worth of other clothing and boots to destitute people; a sum exceeding £l2OO for general relief, a total in all of over £3127, it will be seen that Mr. Smith, of the Smith Family, is very busily engaged. The issue of “Goodfellowship Bonds, which is now being made by Mr. Smith for the purpose of providing Christmas cheer to hundreds of necessitous cases, is one which should appeal to all, and win a ready and generous response from the general public.
