GLORIOUS DAY
Wellington Weather At Wellington yesterday the weather was beautifully fine and sunny, with a very light wind froip the south-east. The temperature at 4 p.m. was 61.9, and the maximum during the day 65.3. Gloriously fine weather prevailed throughout the day in Auckland. There was a light north-easterly breeze.
Bright sunshine prevailed all day in Christchurch. A cool easterly breeze was blowing. There was a continuation of ideal summer weather in Dunedin, the sun shining from a clear sky. ■ The maximum temperature was 68 degrees. A light easterly wind was blowing.
