NEW SECRETARY

Dominion Special Service. Auckland, November 1. Mr. W. E. Anderson has been appointed secretary and treasurer of the Auckland Provincial Employers’ Federation in succession to the late Mr. 8. E. Wright. At the annual meeting feeling reference was made to the death of Mr. Wright, and resolutions expressing the deepest sympathy with Mrs. IVright and placing on record the members’ appreciation of Mr. "Wright’s long and faithful service were carried. The new secretary, Mr. Anderson, was born in Dunedin, and is a son of the Hon. G. J. Anderson, a former Minister of Labour. He saw active service during the war, and, after returning, he was with the Repatriation Department, in Auckland for a year. In 1921 he was appointed assistant secretary tp the Auckland Provincial Employers’ Federation.
