INQUEST VERDICT
Suicide While Depressed

A' verdict of suicide while in a depressed state of mind was returned bj’ the coroner, Mr, E. D. Mosley, S.M., at an impiest into the death of John Henry Christopher Thacker, married, aged 43, residing at 127 St. Andrew’s Square, Christchurch. Hi was stated that Thacker had been in ill-health for some time.
He was found this morning in tlie washhouse at his home alongside a gas copper, with the gas turned on. Two doctors tried artificial respiration without success.
