Serious Floods in Albania
26 PEOPLE DROWNED (Received November 1, 7 p.m.) London, November 1. A Tirana (Albania) message states that torrential rains caused the River Viosa to burst its banks, flooding the town of Premedi; many houses were swept 'away. Twenty-Six people are reported to have been drowned.
