"“Taffrail” Aboard Cornwall

London, October 31.

Captain Henry Taprell Doring, D. 5.0., R.N. (retired), is voyaging to New Zealand in the New Zealand Shipping Company’s cadets’ training ship Cornwall. He will lecture In the Dominion. It is understood that he will report on the work of the Cornwall with a view to the reintroduction of seagoing training for naval cadets.

Captain Dopling is the ‘‘Taffrail” of many sea stories and books on naval subjects. He served in the Royal Navy throughout the Great War.
