Weekly Meeting Held
Reference was made at the weekly meeting of the Wellington Esperanto Club to the fifth New Zealand Esperanto Congress to take place in Wellington during the Christmas holiday period, when representatives of clubs in other centres will be present. . . Mr. L. E. Dust gave an interesting lecturette in Esperanto on “Irigaeio de Dezcrta Lando,” with appropriate blackboard illustrations. . The president gave a short talk iu Esperanto on “La Moderna Uzo de la Esperanto I’repozicio.”, quoting from the writings of modern Esperanto writers. Mr. IL King, secretary of the New Zealand Esperanto xYssociation. addressed the members in the international language on the progress of Esperanto m the Dominion. An Esperanto sing-song brought an enjoyable evening to a close.
