Committees are being formed in various centres of tlie Dominion for the purpose of endeavouring to raise funds to form a New Zealand Air Force Band. Sir Charles Kingsford Smith has opened the fund with a generous donation, and the organisers, of the movement hope to have suflieienti money in hand by the end of the year to purchase instruments.
