The Auckland Education Board has decided to restore the last salary cut imposed on the office staff, namely 10 per cent, for seniors and 5 per cent, foi The chairman said that, theboaid had been influenced by the staff s efficiency. bv a comparison of salaries with’those paid by smaller boards, and bv the fact, that reorganisation had increased the work of the staff while resulting in such a saving that the cut could be restored.
