Two Men Remanded By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, November 1. Recent burglaries in city and country stores, involving goods valued at £3OO, are alleged by the police to concern two men who appeared in the Magistrate's Court this morning charged with breaking and entering at Ashburton on October 1, the shop of rhe New Zealand Farmers’ Co-operative Association, and committing theft. The accused wore remanded to appear on November 14.

The men were Frederick Charles Price, a horse trainer, of Palmer Road, aged 25, and Nelson Raynor Bushell, slaughterman, aged 37, of Pagew Road,
