STRIFE IN IRELAND
Man Kidnapped and Beaten UNSATISFACTORY REPLY (Received October 31, 7 p.m.) Dublin, October 31. Denis O’Conor, living at Bandon, was kidnapped and questioned regarding guns and the movements of certain men. When be answered unsatisfactorily he was beaten and kept prisoner for five hours with a large flagstone tied to his back.
