BRITAIN WANTS PEACE
Cause of Disarmament MR. BALDWIN’S PLEA (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, October 29. In a message addressed to the Conservative candidate at the by-election proceeding in the Skipton division of Yorkshire. Mr. Stanley Baldwin reiterates the Government’s deep interest in the caqse of disarmament. He says: “The whole country, irrespective of party, is solidly united in favour of peace and disarmament by international agreement. The British Government has been striving to achieve it, and there never was a time when it was more necessary for the people to give the Government their support on this issue.”
