Under the corporation’s plans aeroplanes would transport passengers across th© Atlantic in twenty-four hours. The first station will be 400 miles off New York, Investors offer four millions for the scheme if the Government will subsidise the proposition with an additional thirty million dollars. Each float or dock will contain an hotel besides refuelling facilities. Colonel Lindbergh inquired into the proposition while he was in Europe.
