BURGLARY AT PALMERSTON

Technical School Entered

Palmerston North. October 31. A burglarious entry was made to the Palmerston North Technical School building last night, but as far as can be ascertained nothing was taken with the exception of a small quantity of cakes. It is understood that entrance was gained to the building through a large window in the cookery room. A stepladder was found near the window of the office. but entry was gained by means of forcing a slide connecting the oilice with the main passage. Several drawers in the office were forced open. On the last occasion when the school was entered between £3 and £4 was stolen.
