News was received yesterday that the well-known White Star Line steamers Gallic. 7912 tons, and Delphic, 8003 tons gross register, both built in 1918, have been sold to the Clan Line Steamers Ltd. NEW B.P. MOTOR-SHIP. Burns, Philp and Co.’s new motor-ship Malnitn, which was recently launched at Glasgow, sailed from that port op October 21 for Middlesborough. She was to have left Middlesborough on October 25 for Singapore, Rahaul. Samara!, Townsville, Brisbane and Sydney. The Malaita is 3300 gross tonnage, and will later be employed in the island trade.

Cabled advice has been received by tne New Zealand Shipping Company that it« liner Ruahine, which left Auckland on October 7 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool, and Glasgow, via the Panama Canal, reached Balboa on Monday morning. LOADING ALTERATIONS. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that its liner Rotorua will now load for London only, but her ports have not yet been fixed. The Norfolk, which was to have loaded for London, will now take the Rotorua’s West Coast loading, to the agency of the Federal Company. She is due at Wellington on November 29 in ballast, to commence loading, and will later complete at Gisborne, Auckland, and Napier, clearing the lastnamed port finally on December 16 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool, and Glasgow. RANGITIKI IN PORT. To continue her Homeward loading, the New Zealand Shipping Company's motorliner Rangitiki is due at Wellington this morning from Lyttelton, and will berth at the Glasgow Wharf. She is to leave here again on Saturday for Auckland, Tokomaru Bay, and Napier to fill up, sailing finally from Napier on November 17 for London, via the Panama Canal. KIA ORA DELAYED. The Shaw, Savill Company advises that the Kia Ora Is now due at Wellington on Friday from Lyttelton to continue her Homeward loading. WINTON AGAIN REPORTS. The Federal Company has received a further wireless message from the A and A. Line chartered steamer Winton, en route from New York and Gulf of Mexico ports, reporting that she now expects to reach Auckland to-morrow. She will later complete .discharge at Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Australia, and is expected here next Monday or Tuesday.
