Man Jumps Into Water By Telegraph.—Press Association Christchurch, October 31. While attending to his work fis caretaker of a water-race at Springfield, Mr. A. Jones was savagely attacked by bees. He was badly stung about the head, and finding no way of escape, jumped into the water-race. He reached the bank with difficulty and was taken home in an exhausted condition.
