Accident in Washhouse By Telegraph.—Press Association. Te Kuiti, October 16. A painful accident illustrating the danger of benzine occurred on Sunday morning, when Mrs. John Wilson, of Hospital Road, was badly burned on the arras, face, and neck. Mrs. Wilson had been washing, and was called away. On returning, she found that the fire in the copper had burned low. and she used a stick which bad been used in washing greasy overalls in benzine. The flames shot out along the stick to Mrs. Wilson’s foot and body, inflicting paintful, though not serious injuries. She was admitted to hospital, and is making’satisfactory progress. i
