THEFT ALLEGED
Man Brought Back From Sydney On the application of Detective-Ser-geant Revell, a remand unfit October 24 was granted by Mr. AV. F. Stilwell, S.M., in the Police Court', yesterday iu the case of Horace John Algar, company manager, aged 42. who was charged with the theft of £143/3/6, tlie property of R. AV. Swanger and others. Mr. ilevell said that accused had absconded from AVellington by the Maunganni on September 30. and was brought back under police escort by the Marama yesterday morning.
