TWO LINERS TO-DAY
Maunganui and Marama Two liners bringing passengers, malls and- cargo are due at Wellington this morning. The Union Company’s R.M.S. Maunganui, en route from San Francisco, via Papeete and Rarotonga, has reported by wireless that she expects to arrive in the stream at 6 o’clock this morning. After pratique has been granted, she will berth about 8 o’clock at No. 1 south Queen’s Wharf. She has on board 76 passengers, and brings 232 bags of English and American mail and 22 American parcel receptacles for Wellington. The Maunganui is timed to leave Wellington again at 3 p.m. tp-morrow for Sydney, where she is due next Saturday morning. The Marama, en route from Sydney, has reported by wireless that she expects to arrive in port at 7.30 a.m. She will berth immediately at No. 1 north Queen’s' Wharf, where she will be cleared by the Customs and port health authorities. The Marama has on board 170 passengers, and brings 105 bags of mail and 104 parcel receptacles for Wellington. She is to lay up here until November 10, when she will reenter the intercolonial service, running during the summer months in conjunction with the Wanganella.
