English and Australian NEW ZEALAND TOUR Several Davis Cup contestants figure among the passengers due here early this morning by the Maunganui from San Francisco. They include F. J. Perry, the American singles champion aud British Davis Cup representative: H. G. N. Lee, British Davis Cup player; and F. H. D. Wilde. These three players form the British team to visit Australia this season. Also on board are Adrian Quist and D. 'P. Turnbull, the Australian Davis Cup players. Both the British and Australian teams are to make a tour of New Zealand, and the Australians will make their debut in a match at Nelson next Wednesday, the British playing at Timaru on the same day. Both teams are to play in Wellington on October 28. The complete itinerary of the New Zealand tour is as follows: — October IS, Nelson: D. P. Turnbull l and Adrian Quist aud D. France and N. R. C. Wilson. Two singles and one double. October IS. Timaru : H. G. N. Lee, F. j J. Perry nod F. 11. D. Wilde, and C. ' Angas. Two singles and one double. October 21, Christchurch: Lee, Perry and Wilde, aud Turnbull aud Quist. Two singles and two doubles. October 23, Christchurch: Lee, Perry, and Wilde, and C. E. Malfroy, France, , and Angas. Three singles and two ’doubles. October 23, Dunedin: Turnbull and Quist and Wilson and G. A. Pearce. Two singles and one double. October 25, Dunedin: Lee, Perry, and Wilde, and Malfroy, Wilson, and Pearce. Three singles and one double. October 25, Oamaru: Turnbull and Quist and Angas and France. Two singles and one double. October 28, Wellington: Lee, Perry, and Wilde, Turnbull and Quist, and Malfroy and France. Two singles and two doubles. October 30, Hastings: Turnbull and Quist and France and Wilson. Two singles and one double. October 31, Wanganui: Lee, Perry, and Wilde, and Malfroy. Two singles and one double. November 2, New Plymouth-: Lee, Perry, and Wilde and Malfroy. Two singles and one double. November 4, Hamilton: Lee, Perry, and Wilde, and Malfroy, E. Bartleet. and N. G. Sturt. Three singles and one double, or two singles and two doubles. November 8, Auckland: Lee, Perry, and Wilde, and Malfroy, Bartleet, and Sturt. . The Auckland association to be asked for suggestions as to matches to be played with the players named available.
