ACADEMY EXHIBITION
Wellington "art lovers who have not yet visited the annual exhibition of the Academy of Fine Arts in the Whitmore Street gallery will have an opportunity of doing so this week, as the exhibition will remain open every day and evening until Wednesday next, when it will close. The standard of tie work shown this year is high, and visitors can be assured of finding much of interest and beauty on the walls which will well repay them for a visit to the gallery. Sales of pictures in addition to those already published are as follows: —“Bull Hill.” by B. E. Chapple; “The Tin Mill.” by Archibald F. Nicoll ; “Fuchsias,” by Phyllis Lipscomibe: and “The Road to the Hills.” by Sydney Higgs.
