Sir, —In your critic’s otherwise able review of a recent chamber music concert, I think he cast an unmerited slur upon the music-lovers of this city by his complaint that the ball was only half-full. 1 would like to point out that any concert of serious music, and more particularly of chamber music, demands perfect comfort for its milieu.
