Coming Contests in Britain
London, October 10.
The miniature General Election, pending in consequence of six vacancies <lue to deaths, appointments, and other causes, will be an interesting pointer as to the National Government’s present standing. Four seats were overwhelmingly Conservative in 1931. Labour opposes in all divisions, and the Liberals probably in three.
