TENDERS CLOSE TO-DAY
Tenders are to c'osc to-day for the erection of a new building on the <.uty aerodrome at Rongotai. It ’ nll elude under one roof a workshop aud a club-room. The workshop occupies the whole ot the ground floor, which means a space about 36 feet square, semi-partitioned into a main workshop, an oil store, and general store-room. The entrance to the workshop will be through hinged doors, which will travel on an overhead track on the eastern side of the. building. Benches, cupboards and all appurtenances of an up-to-date workshop will be provided. Gained by an exterior stairway, the whole of the upper floor will be clubroom premises, a social hall, locketrooms for women and men, kitchen, and conveniences. The whole ot the front wall space has been glazed, so that the social hall, which has a south-' erlv aspect, will command a view ot the whole of the landing ground, and Lyall Bay in the distance. The new building, 'which will be erected in timber, will be built about 50 feet away from the hangar.
