Closing of Season
The indoor bowling badges were competed for on Saturday, when the holders, Young, Moult. Chillson. Ryan, were defeated by Carsons, Gordon, _ Hanson, Broadbent, of Island Bay, by 25-20. •Next Saturday, will see the last game played, ns the indoor bowling green is closing down. The Hataitai team, Urquhart. Whitcombe. .Taylor. McCune, having nine wins to their credit, are the winners of the badges, Conder’s rink, from Island Bay. witli five successive wins, being the next highest. Other games played on Saturday resulted as follow: —Stewart, Burns, Dixon. J. Dixon. 20. McDonald. Gyles, Weatherbourne, Priddle. 22; Wylie, Stewart, YVhitelaw, Estall. 25, W. Gardner. Chote, Sands, White, 20; Allan, Stonehouse, Ward, 17, Russell, Johnston, Forsyth, 23.
