Proposal by Steel Workers

Washington, October 3. One of the most important resolutions introduced in the American Federation of Labour Convention to-day was offered by the steel workers, who asked for the formation of a Labour Party. They declared that neither the Republicans nor the Democrats could he counted on to further the aims or advance the conditions of labour.
