Fine With Light Southerly
After clearing on Thursday night, the weather in Wellington improved yesterday morning and by noon the sun was shining from a clear sky. A light southerly breeze was blowing. Fine sunny weather prevailed in Auckland, but a moderate southerly wind made conditions cold in the shade. The barometer rose . all day and registered 30.10 inches in the evening. The weather at Christchurch was sunny with a light breeze, which changed from south-west to northeast. The barometer was steady at about 29.97. The maximum temperature was 58 degrees and the minimum 41 degrees. Wne weather, with passing clouds and a light breeze from the southwest prevailed in Dunedin. The barometer was fairly steady all day and registered 30.00 inches In the evening.
