TO-DAY’S SOCCER

Australians v. Wellington Arrangements have been made for a Soccer team from the Australian Navy to play a Wellington representative team at the Kilbirnie Stadium to-day. s The Australian team is an exceptionally good one, and in their game against, the New Zealand Navy at Auckland they played a draw after one of the most brilliant games of Soccer ever seen there. This form shows that the visitors have a strong combination, as the New Zealand Navy have defeated both Auckland and Wellington in previous games. The Australians possess several players who are equal to if not better than the best players in Australia and New Zealand, and the public will be sure to see a great game of football with plenty of excitement. As a curtain-raiser the final of t|io Victory Cup between Seatoun anil Institute will be played, and as both these teams play fast and open football a good game will be seen.
