New Premier Defies Superstition London, September 13. The “Manchester Guardian’s” Madrid correspondent reports that 3000 people are in the foodless Mancha Real districts, and labourers are eating grass. Colliers in Asturias struck. Nevertheless, Senor Lerroux, when reminded that his Ministry, numbering 13, took office on September 13, retorted: “I shall defy superstition.”
