Palmerston Applications 3 Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, September 13. The total value of Mie applications made in Palmerston North under the No. 10 building subsidy scheme was £139,850/1/7, of which sum £51,424 1/8 is represented in labour costs. The subsidy on the labour is £16,574/19/11. The total applications for the subsidy were 473, of which number 212 applications valued at £80,575/15/10 have been approved by the Unemployment Board. The subsidy on the labour cost of the approved work is £8894 1/-, the labour costs being £22,528/3/8. Valueci at £44,453/18/1, 137 applications were received for the Subsidy on new dwellings.
