Entire Street Reproduced
'THE Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studio X purchasing department was given a large order when “Tugboat Annie,” the new Marie Dressler-Wallace Beery co-starring film was made. It had to purchase three barges filled with garbage for certain of the waterfront sequences in the production, and for one episode an entire street on the Seattle waterfront was reproduced to match the actual one used there. “Tugboat Annie” is said to be better even than “Min and Bill'.”
