Erection of Columbarian The City Council last night adopted a recommendation of the cemeteries committee that the city engineer be instructed to prepare plans for the erection of a columbarian to contain about 2000 niches at Karori Cemetery, Authority was also granted for the provision of 44 niches at the crematorium at a cost of £35/15/-. Cr. Burns said that the provision would meet needs for 20 years ahead.
