OBITUARY
Mr. Alfred James Langan The death is reported in a Press Association cable from Sydney of Mr. Alfred James Langan, former manager of the “Sydney Dally Telegraph,” and for many years its advertising manager. Miss Helen Croucher Miss Helen Croucher, who passed away at Palmerston North on Thursday, was one of the most widely known and respected residents of Sanson. Deceased was born in Wellington in 1874, and resided in Sanson practically all her life. She was interested in the Sandon School and the activities of the Sandon Old Boys’ Association. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. E. Ford, of Mananui, and two brothers, Messrs. William J. Croucher, Palmerston North, and James M. Croucher, Sanson,
