ANTIQUES EXHIBITION

Lectures and Concerts The tectures and musical programmes being arranged at the antiques exhibition in /kustin House, Wakefield Street, are making it a very popular rendezvous for art lovers. On Thursday evening Mr. W. M. Page gave a delightful. discourse on “Grandfather Clocks and Sedan Chairs.” Last evening a concert party consisting ’of Miss Putnam (piano), Miss Betty Lewis (songs), and Miss Prue Lewis (violin) gave a short programme. To-night Miss Grace Kennedy is taking another concert party; and on Monday evening Mr. K. Ainslie will give a talk on “The Preservation of Old Furniture.” All profits will go to the funds of the Y.W.C.A., which should benefit considerably through this magnificent effort. Mrs. G. 11. Swan is a Wanganui visitor to Wellington, aud is staying with her daughter. Mrs. L. Duigan.
