Mr. Allum’s Visit to London (Received August 31, 8.30 pan.) London, August 31. The "Financial News,” mentioning the visit of Mr. J. A. C. Allum, chairman of the Auckland Transport Board, says it would be advantageous if the discussions could be broadened to include representatives of other New Zealand bodies. The Government’s problem Is difficult, but there obviously is goodwill on both sides. What is wanted is a nrovisional agreement to bridge the period before the promised legislation can be enacted.
