AFTERNOON PARTY

A “Mother and Daughter” afternoon was held' recently by the members of St. Andrew’s Ladles’ Guild, Palmerston North, in St. Andrew’s Memorial Hall. The young people were welcomed by Mrs. M. Aitchison, and entertained at a tea party. An amusing nursery rhyme competition was held, after which the children presented a programme of music and recitations. The hostesses were Mesdames J. K. Paton and H. Findlay Wilson, the tea hostesses being Mesdames H. Voss, J. K. Paton, A. Wilson, McLeod, Sayers, and members of the committee. Mrs. Saunders thanked the performers and hostesses for a delightful afternoon.
