Young Man’s Tragic Death END OF SHOOTING TRIP By Telegraph.—Press Association. Oamaru, August 28. Ross,Crawshaw, aged 21, son of Mr. Frank Crawshaw, ex-Mayor of Oamaru, met his death in tragic circumstances yesterday. In company with Messrs. E. Swinard and L. Paid, Crawshaw was engaged In shooting shags six miles beyond Dr. Gow’s property at Tapui. He was found dead with severe injuries to the head below a cliff 200 ft. high. Apparently a large boulder, which was found alongside the body, had been loosened by the recent rains and fell from the top of the cliff on to the unfortunate young man. The deceased was a prominent Oamaru swimmer.
