FLYING LINDBERGHS
Arrival at Copenhagen SURVEY OF FLYING ROUTE (Received August 27, 8.30 p.m.) Copenhagen, August 26. Colonel and Mrs. Lindbergh have arrived here and had a great reception. Colonel Lindbergh experienced some difficulty in landing owing to the number of motor-boats In the harbour. The police were compelled to Clear * way to the town hall, where the fly : Ms received a civic welcome. Colonel Lindbergh’s survey of the ■Northern Atlantic flying route is arousing attention, says a London message. It is understood the first reports are favourable for the establishment of a regular summer service between America and Europe, via Greenland, ..Iceland, the Faroes, and the Shetlands, thence to the neighbourhood of Copenhagen. Possibly later a winter service will be established via the Azores and Bermuda.
