North Island Tournament CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland. August 27. The North Island and Auckland Bad'minton championships were finalised on Saturday night, the results being as follow :— Men’s singles: G. Martin beat I. Ellett. 15-10, 15-7. Ladies’ singles: Miss D. Ellett beat Miss J. Ramsay, 11-7, 13-10. Men’s doubles: M. T. Wilson and A. F. Weir beat G. Martin and E. J. Rishworth, 15-4. 15-4. Ladies’ doubles: Misses Ramsay and Wade beat Miss Newton and Mrs. Wren, 15-3, 15;10. i Combined doubles: I. Ellett arid Miss Waters beat Wilson and Mrs. Wren, 15-8, 15-13.
