SOCIAL EVENING

Charley’s Aunt Club One of the bright social evenings held fortnightly by the Charley’s Aunt Club took place in the Masonic Hall, The Terrace, last night. The president, Mr. Byron Brown, was in the chair. There was a large attendance of visitors and members, who enjoyed dancing to the music of Jack Harper’s Fu'turlst Orchestra. Items were given by Mr. M. .Nolan (song) ;• Mr. and Mrs. Creed, Mr. and Mrs. Beckford, Mrs. Ashenden, Miss Lawson, Messrs. A. Fuller and Aubrey, in two clever “Thumbnail Sketches”; and there was also a “Futurist” ballet, danced by Misses G. Stevens (soloist), L. Watkins, M. Harper, M. Stark, M. Eberlet, C. Connor, and M, Petrie. Among those present were Mrs. Nolan, Misses A. and J. Nolan, Mr. and Mrs. T. Tracy, Mr. and Mrs. R. Brown. Mr. and Mrs. S. Boock, Mr. and Mrs. H. Neal, Mr. and Mrs. J.
