Customs revenue collected at Wanganui last month amounted to £2911/18/7, as against £3845/3/- in duly the previous year. The total for the seven mouths ending Julv was £7317/15/6, and for the same period last year £6-101/13/-, an increase of £961/2/6. Sales tax paid in 'Wanganui has been decreasing steadily since April, when the total amount paid was £2239 13/2. May’s total was £1835/4/3, June’s £1784/17/3, and July’s £1584/5/8.
