DEATH IN HOSPITAL
Man With Wound in Throat RAZOR ALONGSIDE BODY In circumstances suggestive of suicide, Peter Brennan, a patient in Wellington Hospital, was found dead, with a wound in his throat, early on Sunday morning. Deceased, who was a farmer at Ahura, near Taumarunui, asked for the night nurse in his ward to get him a drink. .Wfien she returned she found him dead, with a gash in his throat and his razor alongside him. Brennan, who had kept the razor in the locker a the side of his bed, was operated on for an ulcerated stomach on Thursday last. Brennan was a single man, 43 years of age, came from Ireland 21 years ago, and served with the New Zealand forces during the war. On his return lie took up farming, aud at the time • of his death had a farm of 300 acres. He came to Wellington from the King Country some days ago, and entered hospital after staying at an hotel. His brother, who came to Wellington yesterday. was his only relative in the Dominion. '
