Sir, —Mr. T. A.. Fraser suggests my letter was an act of misinterpretation on his criticism. He made a definite statement in his Tetter of June 5 that socialism had proved a failure in Britain, Italy, France and Germany, and was endeavouring to warn the people of this Dominion of this.
I do not dispute that there may be failures in these, countries, but I again maintain that socialism did not bring about these failures. I would again assure Mr. Fraser that under a system of government of real socialism there is no danger—only to those who are able to work but do not. —I am. etc.,
