“BLENDED”: “FOREIGN”
Sale of Russian Butter IDENTITY CONCEALED (Received June 9,10.30 p.m.) London, June 9. A "Daily Express” representative who tried to track 3,250,000 pounds of Russian butter landed since the embargo was imposed failed to find an ounce. He was told that the butter was sold wholesale in the city as Siberian and retailed as “blended” or "foreign.” It would be unsaleable at any price if labelled "Russian.”
