Mrs. M. Hoar, Palmerston North, is staying in Wellington. Miss Philippa Nairn, Hastings, is on a visit to Wellington. Miss E. Wighton, Gisborne, has returned from a visit to Wellington. Miss Y. Neilson, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. J. L. Reeves, Gisborne. Mrs. T. Lonsdale, of Wellington, is In Auckland. Mrs. Dwyer, of Blenheim, came to Wellington yesterday en route to Sydney.
Madame L. Roux, Cognac, France, and Mrs. L. Stephenson, Napier, are staying at the Midland Hotel. Mrs. F. W. Moore, Lower Hutt, is visiting Wanganui as the guest of Mrs. E. Cutfleld. Grey Street. Mrs. S. Brooking, senr., of Wellington, is visiting Mrs. S. Brooking, Gonville, Wanganui. Mrs. V. Rofe has returned to Woodville after spending a holiday in Gisborne.
Miss Peggy de Costa. Gisborne, who has been visiting Christchurch, is at present the guest of her aunt, Mrs. A. Levy. Buller Street, Wellington. Miss Molly Paterson, who has been On the nursing staff of the New Plymouth Hospital for several years, has joined the Alexandra Hospital at Wellington.
Mrs. Frank Leckie, Heretaunga, who lias been visiting Mrs. Murray Gard’ncr, Christchurch, has returned home.
Mr. and Mrs. Peter Dawson, who have been staying at the Hotel St. George while in Wellington, left last night for Christchurch. Miss Beryl Earle, Lower Hutt, who is leaving for an extended visit to England early next month, will visit ■Wanganui next week, where she will be the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Earle, St. John’s Hill.
The wedding of Miss Margot Russell, youngest daughter of Sir Andrew and Lady Russell, Tunanui, Hawke's Bay, to Mr. T. C. Lowry, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. T. IL Lowry. Okawa, Hastings, will take place very quietly in the Crownthorpe Church to-day.
