Meteorological Office, Wellington, Sunday, April 30, 1933, at. 4 p.m. The pressure situation is very complex. An anti-cyclone is moving on to southern New Zealand, a depression is centred over the north Tasman, while anomer is approaching; from eastern Australia. Moderate to strong northerly winds at first from Nelson and Marlborough nortn ward, but a change to south on south-east advancing from the soutn. Seas rough about Cook and Foveaux Straits; elsewhere moderate in New Zealand waters, but rising south of East Cape. _ Winds variable, with south to east prevailing in the eastern Tasman Sea. seas moderate to rather rough. . ■ . . _ OT ,a Weather still rather unsettled, with scattered rain, but improving in western ana southern districts of the South Island. Temperatures cooler.
