MINING AT MURCHISON
Warning About Conditions UNEMPLOYED AND CLAIMS By Telegraph —Press Association. Murchison, April 29. At a meeting of the Murchison Conntv mining executive the local certifying officer reported that a large number of unemployed men had recently arrived in the Murchison district under /the impression that they could immediately be placed on mining claims Since the recent inception ol the Unemployment Board’s mining scheme 30 men have been placed on special areas, and it will be necessary for the executive in future to deal with all applications strictly in order of date Some delav therefore must be anticipated before late arrivals can he satisfactorily Placed , - - , The executive advises in a geuertl way that owing to the probable severity of winter conditions in the Murchison County this season, it would not be wise for anyone to take up claims in the district unless they are fully equipped to endure the climatic conditio n s ____________
